Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Bag changes are what age this panel, and the hinge posts and the catch keep the count. SEBO 5749SE is the replacement in dark blue, supplied as a complete cover for AUTOMATIC X4 and AUTOMATIC X5 machines rather than as a bare shell.
Two demands are made of this moulding at once. It is the face the vacuum presents to the room, so it gathers scuffs from skirting boards and takes the impact when the machine is walked into a doorway; and it closes over the dust compartment, so how squarely it sits decides whether that chamber holds its seal. A cover cracked at a hinge or missing its catch leaves the compartment part open and makes the machine look older than it is. Because this one arrives assembled, it goes back on in a single piece and shuts properly straight away, with no parts robbed from the broken panel.

Colour is the first check, as this panel exists in several finishes under different numbers — 5774SE, for instance, is the black and silver one. On a machine of any age the seal is worth adding to the order, since rubber that has hardened will leak against even a new cover.
