Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The Hide-A-Hose Mini Valve Rough-In Kit (Part #HS22ROUGH) is the construction-phase portion of a Mini retractable central vacuum inlet, installed during framing before drywall and finish go in. It contains the rough-in components only — no trim valve and no hose.

  • Establishes the Mini inlet location and tubing connection during rough construction.
  • Does not include the finish trim valve or hose — pair it with the Mini finish trim kit (HS22FINISH) at trim-out.
  • Lets builders place inlet locations early and defer the finish-valve cost until later.

In a Hide-A-Hose Mini system the cleaning hose retracts into the wall tubing through the inlet valve, so the rough-in must be positioned accurately before walls are closed. This rough-in kit (HS22ROUGH) sets that foundation; later the HS22FINISH trim kit drops the valve and 22' hose into the prepared opening to complete the inlet.
