    Returns & Exchanges

    Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

    Return eligibility

    Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

    For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

    This Hoover Elite replacement flat belt (Part #FB375) is the Style 040 drive belt for Hoover Elite series upright vacuums. It rides between the motor shaft and the brushroll, turning the agitator brush that loosens and lifts dirt, dust, and pet hair from carpet so the suction can carry it away.

    When an Elite stops grooming carpet or you smell hot rubber, a worn or stretched belt is almost always the cause. The Style 040 belt glazes and loses grip with use, letting the brushroll slow down or stall.
