Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 5380HG is the internal cover fitted to the SEBO ESSENTIAL G1 and ESSENTIAL G2, moulded in light gray and catalogued as one assembled item rather than a handful of pieces.
The panel forms a wall of the route air takes once it leaves the bag compartment, and it stands between the components behind it and whatever the bag has failed to trap. Two things go wrong with it and both end the same way. Fine cracks open across the moulding, or a locating tab breaks off and the panel no longer pulls up tight onto its seal. Either fault lets air out of the path it is meant to follow, which puts dust into sections of the machine that were never in the airstream at all and takes the bite out of the floor head. Changing bags does not correct any of it, because the bag was never the fault. A panel sitting square on every tab restores the enclosed route.
Identify the machine from its rating label first. The AUTOMATIC X uprights use another moulding in a darker finish, and the two do not interchange. With the machine open it is worth looking at what shares that section: 5842 is the seal between cover and bag housing, 2846 is the exhaust filter for these machines, and the filter bags themselves are 5093AM.
