Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Cooling air has to reach the motor by a defined route, and cover 5018UL is what defines it on SEBO's AUTOMATIC X uprights. It caps the motor compartment, keeps loose debris from settling on the motor, and steers the airstream across it rather than letting it wander through the cabinet.
One part number covers a wide span of these machines: it fits the SEBO AUTOMATIC X1, AUTOMATIC X2, AUTOMATIC X4, AUTOMATIC X4 Boost and AUTOMATIC X5, which makes it a sensible item for a workshop that services a mixed fleet to keep on the shelf. Change the cover when it is cracked, has bowed away from the housing, or has lost the tabs that pull it down flat, since a cover that no longer sits true breaks the dust shield and the cooling path at the same time. A motor running hotter than it should, or one that has started shedding carbon dust into the cabinet, is worth checking here before anything more expensive is considered. Transfer any gasket or foam pad from the old cover onto the new one before screwing it down, and replace those seals instead if they are hardened or torn.
