SEBO Bag Cover Seal for C S...

Product details
Unfiltered air finds the shortest way in, and on a C-series canister the shortest way is often around the bag cover. Part 6187 is the gasket that closes that door onto the body, so everything entering the machine has to pass through the filtration bag first. SEBO lists it for the C1.1, the C2.1 and the C3.1.
Gaskets harden with heat and flatten under the constant clamping of the latch. Once the material stops recovering its shape, fine dust escapes at the seam and pickup drops even with a new bag installed. That combination — strong motor, clean filters, fresh bag, disappointing suction — is the fault this part fixes more often than any other. A dust line along the sealing face, or grit inside the body where the bag should have caught it, confirms the diagnosis. Clean the sealing face on the body before fitting the replacement so it sits evenly the whole way round.
The rest of the bag compartment is catalogued separately for these machines. The bag holder assembly, supplied complete with its safety catch, is 6094. The cover release with its own seal is 6036DG and the bearing cover behind it is 6039. Bags themselves come in Service Box C, 6198AM, which pairs ten paper bags with a microfilter and an exhaust filter; the exhaust filter on its own is 6033AM. All of those carry the same C1.1, C2.1 and C3.1 fitment as this seal.
