Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Yellow ring on the collar is the identifier. Two SEBO sensors look alike sitting on a shelf and only the coloured ring separates them, so 5464 is the yellow-ringed unit for the AUTOMATIC X4 and X4 Boost and the ESSENTIAL G1 and G4. Its pulley and mounting screws are in the box, and the drawings place it at item 151 on the AUTOMATIC X4/X5 sheet and item 157 on the ESSENTIAL G4/G5 sheet.
That pulley explains the design. The unit is turned by the 2MR belt taken off the motor, which means it reads the drive itself rather than sitting to one side of it, and on the ESSENTIAL sheet it is drawn a few items away from the computer controller at 154. Trouble here therefore shows up in how the machine acts rather than in any noise it makes: erratic response to the controls, a running speed that wanders instead of holding, or a stop partway across a room with nothing blocked and nothing jammed.
Two checks are worth making before the new unit goes in. Confirm the belt is sound, since a belt that skips produces several of the same complaints, and confirm the ring colour on the old sensor matches the one ordered. Photograph every connector first: the replacement wants to go back on exactly the routing the factory used, and a picture turns reassembly into a five-minute job.
