Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Support springs lose tension quietly, long before anything visibly breaks. Part 5107-1 is the spring that loads the support lever on SEBO uprights, listed as the support spring at position 145 on the AUTOMATIC X4/X5 parts drawing.
The support lever is what holds the machine at its parked angle and lets it drop into the cleaning position when you want it to. The spring supplies the return. Once it weakens or snaps, the lever stops coming back cleanly, the upright no longer holds position the way it did when new, and the pedal action develops a dead spot that gets worse rather than better. It is an inexpensive item sitting in an awkward place, which is why most technicians renew it as a matter of course whenever the lever assembly is apart rather than going back in a second time.
