Product details
Refreshing every small flat washer during a strip-down costs very little and removes a whole class of return visit. Part 0143ER is the 3.2 bore DIN 125 washer in a pack of ten, matched to the AUTOMATIC X and ESSENTIAL G uprights, and it is the same washer stocked singly as 0143.
Each one gives its screw a flat seat and shares the clamping load across a wider area of the housing, which matters most where the fastener passes through thin plastic or a slotted bracket. DIN 125 describes exactly that: a plain ring, flat on both faces, with no spring and no locking feature, sized by the bore that fits over the screw. Cupped, pitted or plain absent washers let heads dig in and let tension drain out of the joint. Working through a machine with a fresh set means every screw you retighten is bearing on new metal rather than on something already squashed twice. It is the cheapest half hour of insurance in a service, and it means the torque you put back into each fastener is actually reaching the joint rather than being absorbed by a tired washer.
Ten is a realistic quantity for one full upright service, and it leaves a few over for the next machine. Note that the 3.2 bore will not pass over M4 hardware — the larger washer is a separate line.
