The Miele Classic C1 Pure Suction is a bagged canister vacuum for homes where hard floors do most of the work. Its combination floorhead handles everyday dust and debris, with a foot-operated setting for moving between smooth flooring and low-pile rugs.

Choose this model when you want simple floor care without a rotating carpet brush. If embedded pet hair or substantial carpeting is your main challenge, compare the Turbo Team and Cat & Dog configurations before buying.

Features that matter at home

  • Adjustable suction: Six rotary-dial settings let you choose the suction level for the surface you are cleaning.
  • Combination floorhead: The SBD 365-3 switches between hard-floor and carpet settings.
  • Bagged collection: Uses Miele Type GN dustbags, with a bag-change indicator to help you monitor replacement needs.
  • AirClean filtration: Includes an AirClean exhaust filter and motor-protection filter. HEPA filtration is an optional upgrade.
  • Adjustable reach: A telescopic stainless-steel wand lets you set a comfortable working height.

Included equipment

Before you choose

Does it have a rotating carpet brush? No. Its combination floorhead uses straight suction. The Turbo Team adds an air-driven brush; the Cat & Dog includes an electric powerhead.

Which replacement bags does it take? Miele Type GN. Select bags for the Classic C1 specifically; do not choose FJM bags for this model.
